This role provides immediate emotional support, crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals to resources. Emergency Response Advocates ensure that every caller is met with compassion, dignity, and timely assistance, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Survivor Advocate
The Survivor Advocate is a key member of our support team, working directly with individuals impacted by trauma and abuse. This role provides confidential crisis intervention, emotional support, safety planning, advocacy, and connection to community resources. Survivor Advocates ensure survivors’ voices are heard, their rights are upheld, and their healing journey is supported with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Peer Support Group Leader
The Peer Support Group Leader will facilitate virtual support groups for survivors, providing a safe, respectful, and empowering space for participants to share experiences, connect with others, and build coping strategies. This role focuses on fostering mutual support, encouraging healing, and promoting personal growth through peer-to-peer connection.
Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Volunteer helps raise awareness of Hope Into Healing’s mission, programs, and services. This role involves representing the organization at community events, building relationships with local partners, and sharing information and resources with the public.
